Find out what you have, what is at risk and what is actually slowing you down. No recommendations before this.

A costed plan in plain English, including the parts you can safely put off until next year.

Step 03

Planned changes are made outside core hours wherever practical, with any disruption agreed with you in advance.

Keep it patched, backed up and documented — so you are never dependent on one person's memory.

One person, twenty years, no sales team.

MF Insight Technologies is Michael Caldecott. Two decades running IT and infrastructure, a good deal of it for organisations where an outage costs real money and a data breach has to be reported.

Most of that experience does not need to stay locked up in large organisations. Small businesses face the same problems with a fraction of the budget and none of the in-house help, which is who this is for.

I have also been working hands-on with AI tools since early 2025. That matters because most AI advice now comes from people selling transformation — mine comes from someone who has to keep your data protected at the same time.

You get the person who scoped the work doing the work, and answering the phone when it goes wrong. That is the entire proposition.

What happens to your details.

What I collect
Only what you send me: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and what you write in your enquiry.
What I use it for
Replying to your enquiry, and delivering any work you go on to engage me for. Nothing else.
What I never do
Sell your details, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not result in paid work are retained for up to 24 months after our last contact and are then securely deleted. If you become a client, contracts, invoices, payment records and other information necessary to document the services provided are normally retained for six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, or longer where required by law.
Your rights
Ask what I hold, have it corrected or deleted, at any time — email hello@mfintech.info. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
